Autumn Little Trip- Visiting Persimmon’s House (Jinhan Dried Persimmon)
Persimmons are in season from September to November every year, Every single red and chubby persimmon hangs on the tree, looks like little beautiful lantern!

And because persimmon in Mandarin is 柿子(shizi), people often use homophone like
“柿柿如意” (shi shi ru yi)、”柿柿平安”(shi shi ping an), which means everything goes well and peace, as a symbol of auspice and safe.
Walking in to the persimmon orchard, seeing a beautiful sight of drying persimmons, introducing the growing of persimmon, we also watch how dried persimmons are made with the kids.
After drying under the sun and wind, good smelling and chewy dried persimmons are ready to sell! We bought some and took them back to the school to enjoy with the kids. Today is such a day that kids had wonderful vision and taste experience!
